SMS Medical College identified robotic-assisted surgery as an important area of future surgical capability, followed by hands-on exposure to Da Vinci Xi technology for surgeons and residents in 2022.
A proposed fitness and sports centre focused on the physical and psychological wellbeing of doctors, healthcare workers and students, with upgraded indoor and outdoor sports facilities.
